IS SHIPPING FREE?
We provide free shipping for print orders shipped within the U.S.
Expedited orders, frame and canvas orders, and interational orders require a shipping upgrade at checkout.
WHAT IS THE EXPECTED DELIVERY TIME FOR MY ORDER?
Most orders are processed within 2-4 business days. It may be a few days longer during certain times of the year. Shipping times are dependent on the shipping method and the destination.
Our Free Shipping orders within the U.S. are usually shipped via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Ground Advantage or UPS Ground Saver. It usually takes 3 to 8 business days depending on your location, however, it may take more time.
Expedited shipping orders use USPS Priority Mail, UPS OR FEDEX. It usually takes 2 to 5 business days depending on the service selected.
WHAT TYPES OF PAPER ARE YOUR PRINTS AND MAPS PRINTED ON?
We print on two types of archival-grade, fine-art papers that are acid-free, ensuring a longer print life than other paper options. Both papers support accurate color reproduction and produce high-quality output.
Premium Paper, a smooth, medium-weight (230 gsm) paper.
Fine Art Paper, a lightly textured, heavier-weight (330 gsm) paper.
Both are matte papers with natural-looking surfaces, without the sheen or reflections that come with a glossy paper.
For many customers, Premium Paper is the best option. It is a high-grade paper that is heavier than the typical poster paper used by many online map vendors. This is the paper I use when I provide my work to museums for resale.
If you’re buying for a special gift or occasion, or want to get more of the look of an original piece of fine art, then I recommend the Fine Art paper.
ARE THERE ANY SALES TAX OR VALUE-ADDED TAXES?
If you ship to a location in Massachusetts then a 6.25% sales tax is added to the total amount of your order. If you ship to an international destination there may a customs fee or VAT due when your order arrives at your location.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all prints. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, let us know by sending us an email at care@historyshots.com and we will provide you with a refund.
Please note that international shipping fees are non-refundable.
